SpringHill Suites by Marriott Grand Rapids Airport Southeast

Great location with lots of shopping centers and restaurants near by. The zoo is a quick 20 minute drive. Rooms were updated and clean. The beds and pillows were lacking firmness which I wasn't a fan of. It was fairly quiet during my stay but towards the weekend when more people were checking in the hotel started getting dirty with food in the elevators, hallways, and even outside. The floors near the pool were pretty wet at times but had caution signs sitting on the floor. Besides those things it was a great place to stay and I'd stay here again.

Tara at the breakfast service was a superstar! We loved her. She was able to answer all of our questions and we could tell took pride in the good quality of the food there. Good clean option right outside of Grand Rapids. The staff was super nice and very friendly. The rooms were spacious and I liked the West Elm modern design. For breakfast, the oatmeal bar was stacked but the rest of the options were mid- fake eggs, yogurts full of sugar, cheap bread.

I love the hotel. I was here last month and couples months before that. Rooms were clean had everything that I wanted and needed.The guy named Ray that works for the front desk at night time. He is really good helper. He’s knows how to talk to people. Always smiling. Makes good conversation. Goes above and beyond for customers. All around very good worker. He helped me if I couldn’t figure the shower. Or if I asked for something he would bring it. Never complains about anything. Now someone like that you need to keep around and treat him good. I’m telling you i would have made him an assistant manger by now. Good Guy.

Not the worst Marriott property I have stayed at, but also not the best! Room smelled musty, as did the hallways. Could use some modern freshness! It served well for a one night stay. I would definitely not stay long term. The property is hidden, so getting to it proved interesting. Also, the older lady tending to the breakfast room worked her butt off without any help and did a great job! She was very polite and graciously refused any tip!

My church had a Women’s Conference there today, April 5, 2925. It was in a very conference room with a view of the lake. Located behind Target. Nice looking hotel with a lake view and friendly front desk ladies. I didn’t see the rooms. However, the lobby area is nice with big screen televisions and a bar-like area.

Wonderful hotel. Very clean and amazing service at the breakfast buffet by the woman that services this area. Friendly and went out of her way to exceed our expectations. Kids loved the breakfast as well! 8/16/2025 thank you!

I wasn’t even staying at this hotel, but they treated me like I was. My hotel next door didn’t have laundry services, and they graciously allowed me to use theirs. While I waited, they also let me use the gym and even kept the door open to accommodate me. Staff checked in afterward to see how my workout was, which felt genuinely thoughtful. Everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming during a stressful travel day with delays. Since both hotels share the same shuttle service, getting back and forth was incredibly easy and made navigating travel hiccups so much smoother. I truly appreciate their kindness and flexibility. Highly recommend — it’s the people that make the experience, and they showed up in a big way.

Great location, definitely liked the woodsy quiet spot and only 7mins from the airport. King bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean. A desk to work & kitchenette sorta.
